Karina from aespa and Lee Jaewook have been making waves in the news ever since Dispatch reported their relationship, which was later confirmed by Lee Jaewook’s agency.
On March 5, Karina took to Instagram to address the surprise and concern fans experienced upon learning about her dating news, stating her heartfelt apology with a handwritten letter.
Karina began the letter by saying, “First of all, I apologize for giving you so much shock and to MYs who have been surprised, I am saying this late because I wanted to be cautious. For the MYs who have supported me all this time, I know how disappointed you must have been, and how you have been upset while remembering the stories we’ve shared.”
She added, “I know that feeling as well, and so I feel even more apologetic. I’m writing this letter to let you know how I am feeling even in the smallest bit. While worrying about the risk that I may hurt you once again, the reason I am writing this message is because I want to express my deepest apologies to the fan who have gifted me the warmest winters since the moment I debuted.”
She further apologized for disappointing the fans by saying, “I want to make up for the hurt that MYs have received. I have always been genuine to MYs and even now, each and everyone of you is precious to me.
Karina concluded the letter, “This may be a short letter to express my feelings, but I am thankful to you for reading it, and I want to show you the hardworking and more mature side of me that won’t bring disappointment to MYs in the future.”
Fans believe that Karina shouldn’t have felt the need to apologize for her dating life, as it’s her personal choice and she has the right to decide when and how to share that information.
