aespa’s Karina will miss the group’s Fukuoka concerts due to health issues.
On July 30, SM Entertainment announced that Karina will not join aespa for their Japan tour concerts at Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall B on July 30 and 31, due to health reasons.
The label shared that the aespa leader missed the Osaka concert on July 28 due to health issues and hasn’t fully recovered yet. Following medical advice that she needs more rest, they have decided she won’t participate in the Fukuoka concert either.
aespa will perform as a trio in Fukuoka, with Giselle, Winter, and Ningning taking the stage. Unfortunately, she won’t be able to join them for the concert or the fan meet-and-greet session that follows.
SM Entertainment apologized to the fans who were eagerly awaiting her performance with aespa members in Fukuoka.
On another note, aespa’s second world tour, SYNK: Parallel Line, kicked off in Seoul in June following their comeback. New dates were added to the tour after the overwhelming demand. This is the second time SYNK: Parallel Line concert is being held in Fukuoka on July 30-31. Previously, they held a concert at the same venue on July 6.
Following that, aespa will be performing in Hong Kong on August 3-4 and in Taipei on August 9-11.
