A new romantic comedy drama is in the works, and Ahn Bo Hyun and Lee Joo Bin are reportedly set to take the lead roles.
The upcoming project is helmed by director Park Won Gook who directed one of 2024’s hit Kdramas “Marry My Husband.”
As exclusively reported by OSEN on October 16, Lee Joo Bin and Ahn Bo Hyun have been offered lead roles in the upcoming drama “Spring Fever” (Working title). Their agencies have confirmed receiving the lead roles and both are currently reviewing the offer.
“Spring Fever” is a heartwarming romance drama about Yoon Bom, a wounded soul who finds solace after relocating to Shinsu-eup. As an exchange teacher, she navigates a new life, transforming from cold and indifferent to open and vulnerable, thanks to her encounter with Seon Jae-gyu.
In “Spring Fever,” Ahn Bo Hyun brings to life Seon Jae Gyu, a tattooed CEO with a tough exterior and a heart of gold. Lee Joo Bin stars as Yoon Bom, a wounded exchange teacher who finds love and redemption through Seon Jae Gyu.
“Spring Fever” will be helmed by acclaimed director Park Won-gook, known for his success with tvN’s “Marry My Husband” (12.0% peak rating). His notable works include “Working Mom, House Daddy”, “A Daughter Just Like You”,and more.
Ahn Bo Hyun, who recently starred in the drama “Flex x Cop” has proven his acting skill through roles in “See You in My 19th Life,” “Yumi’s Cells,” “Her Private Life,” and more.
Lee Joo Bin, who recently appeared in the hit drama “Queen of Tears,” has an exciting project lineup. She is set to star in highly-anticipated Kdramas “Divorce Insurance,” “Twelve”, and “Guardian.”
Filming for the new rom-com “Spring Break” is scheduled to begin early 2025.
