SBS’s upcoming drama Sold Out Again Today (working title) has secured its lead stars, with popular actors Ahn Hyo Seop and Chae Won Bin confirmed for the main roles. The new drama marks Ahn’s return to romantic comedies after his breakout role in Business Proposal.
Sold Out Again Today is a charming romantic comedy starring Matthew Lee (Ahn Hyo Seop), a farmer with three jobs, and Dam Ye Jin (Chae Won Bin), a top show host struggling with insomnia. As their paths cross day and night, they find love in unexpected ways.
Sold Out Again Today will be helmed by Seoul Busters director Ahn Jong Yeon and penned by Jin Seung Hee.
Ahn Hyo Seop plays Matthew Lee, a multitasking farmer who juggles three roles: running the world’s only farm producing miraculous ingredients, leading a natural cosmetics company, and working as a cosmetics researcher. However, there is a secret behind his busy life.
His notable acting credits include A Time Called You, Business Proposal, Lovers of the Red Sky, and more. He will be next seen in a multi-starrer webtoon-based movie, Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, in July.
Chae Won Bin stars as Dam Ye Jin, a top home shopping host known for selling out every product category. However, her success comes at a cost – she has developed severe insomnia due to sacrificing sleep for her demanding job. As Dam Ye Jin navigates her chaotic life, fans are curious to see if she will find a way to overcome her sleepless nights.
Chae gained fame for her roles in Doubt and Who Is She after making her official television debut with When My Love Blooms in April 2020.
Ahn Hyo Seop and Chae Won Bin will portray characters who share one defining trait: they’re utterly devoted to their careers, yet completely indifferent about their personal lives. When a chance encounter brings these two work-obsessed individuals together, their lives become unexpectedly intertwined – day and night.
Meanwhile, Sold Out Again Today starring Ahn Hyo Seop and Chae Won Bin will air on SBS in 2026.
