Ahn Hyo Seop is reportedly teaming up with the “Lovely Runner” director for a crime mystery melodrama!
On October 31, the “Business Proposal” actor was cast as the main lead in the drama “The Night of Heaven.” The drama is directed by Yoon Jong Ho, who helmed one of the most popular dramas of the year, “Lovely Runner” starring Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon.
“The Night of Heaven” is a drama based on a novel by Hwang Ui Geon. The story revolves around a South Korean conglomerate heiress who faces societal disdain due to being an illegitimate child.
Her life takes a dramatic turn when she encounters a secretive group called Ace in Cheongdam-dong. As they join forces, they protect each other from evil and discover the transformative power of true love.
Ahn Hyo Seop plays Cheong Guk, a talented but troubled taekwondo athlete turned entertainer. He’s the star of the exclusive club “Cibelome” (meaning “handsome man” in French).
Cheong Guk’s impressive physique and skills hide a painful past. His stepmother ran off with his father’s life insurance money, leaving him with crippling debt to loan sharks. Now, he’s fighting to make a name for himself in the cutthroat entertainment industry.
