Upcoming Korean Dramas and Reality Shows on Netflix in 2026

The streaming giant announced the 2026 K-drama lineup through a sizzle reel on January 22. Disney+ revealed its impressive lineup only a day after Netflix released its own major schedule of Korean dramas for the year. Dramas featuring top stars, such as IU, Byeon Woo Seok, Shin Min Ah, Park Bo Young, and more, will arrive this year.

Previously, the streamer revealed its 2026 lineup at the Disney+ Original Preview 2025 event in Hong Kong. This time, it has dropped short teasers for each upcoming K-drama.

Kdramas Coming to Disney+ in 2026

Here is a complete Kdrama lineup announced by Disney+ today

Bloody Flower

  • Premiere: February 4, 2026
  • Genre: Crime Thriller

Bloody Flower is one of the first major Disney+ originals of 2026, based on the novel The Flower of Death. It stars Ryeoun as Lee Woo Gyeom, Sung Dong Il, and Keum Sae Rok in a tense crime story. The drama follows a supposed serial killer with a medical background who claims to have a universal cure. A prosecutor pursues him and goes to extreme lengths to stop him.

Ryeoun stars as the serial killer and Keum Sae Rok plays the pursuing prosecutor. Veteran actor Sung Dong Il appears as a lawyer desperately seeking treatment for his daughter.

In Your Radiant Season

  • Premiere: February 20, 2026
  • Genre: Romance, Melodrama

The story follows Sunwoo Chan, a sunny and bright character designer who lives life like an endless summer. However, he suffered memory loss after an unfortunate accident seven years ago. Song Ha Ran, a head designer at a top fashion house who has shut herself off emotionally after past losses.

Slated to air on MBC, Chae Jong Hyeop plays Sunwoo Chan and Lee Sung Kyung joins as Song Ha Ran. 

Battle of Fates

  • Premiere: Early 2026
  • Genre: Variety show

Battle of Fates is a Korean reality survival show that gathers 49 experts in fate reading. This includes shamans, tarot card readers, and physiognomists, who compete in challenges that test their skills and instincts. Contestants are eliminated if they fail, while those who succeed move forward to the next round. 

The show is hosted by popular personalities Jun Hyun Moo, Park Na Rae, Park Ha Seon, SHINDONG, and Kang Ji Yeong, who bring humor and energy to the series. 

Gold Land

  • Premiere: Early 2026
  • Genre: Crime thriller

Gold Land is a smuggling drama set in a fictional mining town. After the collapse of the coal industry, the government opened a casino called Goldland to revive the economy. Kim Hee Joo, played by Park Bo Young, is an airport security officer who suddenly ends up with a stash of gold bars linked to a dangerous smuggling ring. 

Supporting actors include Kim Sung Cheol, who plays a loan shark employee, and Lee Hyun Wook, her complicated boyfriend. The series is directed by Kim Sung Hoon and written by Hwang Jo Yoon, making his debut in streaming. 

Perfect Crown

  • Premiere: Early to mid 2026
  • Genre: Romance

Perfect Crown stars IU and Byeon Woo Seok in a story set in a modern Korea that still has a constitutional monarchy. IU plays a chaebol heiress, while Byeon Woo Seok plays a melancholic prince. It is set to debut in the first half of 2026 on MBC TV and stream globally on Disney+.

IU joins as Sung Hee Joo, a confident and ambitious chaebol heiress who, despite her wealth, is still legally considered a commoner and feels held back by her social status. Byeon Woo Seok plays Prince Yi An, a royal who, despite his title, has little real power. The two enter a contract marriage for their own reasons, which gradually leads to romance. The supporting cast includes Steve Noh and Gong Seung Yeon.

The Remarried Empress

  • Premiere: Late 2026
  • Genre: Fantasy Romance, Historical

Set to premiere in the second half of 2026, The Remarried Empress is a historical, fantasy romance based on a popular webtoon. The story follows Empress Navier, who is divorced by her husband, Emperor Sovieshu, to make way for a former slave. In a strategic move, Navier remarries Prince Heinrey, the ruler of a rival kingdom, to reclaim her dignity and power. 

Shin Min Ah stars as Empress Navier, Ju Ji Hoon plays Emperor Sovieshu, Lee Jong Suk takes on Prince Heinrey, and Lee Se Young portrays Rashta, the former slave. The series is directed by Jo Soo-won, known for Pinocchio, and written by Yeo Ji Na and Hyun Choong Yeol. Filming took place in Prague from June to November last year. This is rumored to be Disney+’s most expensive Korean drama to date.

Made in Korea Season 2

  • Premiere: Late 2026
  • Genre: Period political thriller

Made in Korea was renewed for a second season even before the first one fully aired. The drama stars major Korean actors like Hyun Bin and Jung Woo Sung and is set in the turbulent 1970s.

The drama continues the intense rivalry between Baek Ki-tae, an ambitious KCIA agent played by Hyun Bin, and Jang Geon Young, an incorruptible prosecutor played by Jung Woo Sung. The ensemble also includes Woo Do Hwan and Cho Yeo Jeong. Season 2 is directed by Woo Min Ho and the scripts are by Park Eun Gyo and Park Joon Suk. Filming is underway and expected to wrap in March this year.

A Shop For Killers Season 2

  • Premiere: Late 2026
  • Genre: Action

A Shop for Killers Season 2 will continue following skilled killer Jin Man (Lee Dong Wook) and his niece Ji An (Kim Hye Jun). The new season will explore even bigger conflicts between the underworld groups MurderHelp and Babylon. 

Several cast members are returning, including Jo Han Sun, Lee Tae Young, Geum Hae Na, and Kim Min. New faces will also join the story, such as Hyun Ri as Q, leader of Babylon’s East Asia mercenary unit, Masaki Okada as J, Q’s younger brother and co‑leader, and Jung Yun Ha as Kusanagi, head of Babylon’s East Asia branch.

The Husband (WT)

  • Premiere: Late 2026
  • Genre: Romantic thriller

The Husband, directed by Kim Jung Hyun and written by Jung Jae Ha, follows a man who must face a dangerous criminal to save his kidnapped wife. The leading cast includes Namkoong Min, Lee Seol, and Kim Dae Myung.

Portraits of Delusion

  • Premiere: Late 2026
  • Genre: Fantasy, Mystery thriller

Portraits of Delusion is set in 1935 Gyeongseong (now Seoul). Struggling painter Yun I‑ho is hired to paint a portrait of the reclusive Song Jeong Hwa, a woman who hasn’t been seen in public for over 50 years. As I‑ho begins the work, he discovers strange secrets hidden in her hotel and becomes increasingly fascinated by her true nature. The series stars Bae Suzy as Song Jeong Hwa and Kim Seon‑ho as Yun I‑ho. This project will be a reunion for the actors after their 2020 drama Start‑Up. 

The supporting cast includes Huh Joon Ho and Choi Hyun Wook, with Kim Young Kwang making a special appearance. Directed by Han Jae Rim (Emergency Declaration), it is adapted from a popular webtoon Delusion by Hongjacga.
