The 78th Cannes Film Festival marked a major milestone for TWICE’s Mina, as the K-pop superstar graced the French Riviera for her very first appearance at the prestigious event.
On May 19, Mina arrived at the Cannes 2025 red carpet as Boucheron’s ambassador. In addition, Han So Hee also made her second appearance this year thanks to her partnership with French jeweler, Boucheron.
The Japanese K-pop star walked the iconic red steps for the first time, therefore, expectations were at an all-time high. Her solo stans and ONCE (TWICE fans) were looking forward to Mina Cannes 2025 appearance. They trended various tags on X (previously Twitter) to show their love and support for the TWICE member.
The 78th Cannes Film Festival is currently underway, having started on May 13, 2025, and will run until May 24, 2025, in Cannes, France.
International stars like Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Dakota Johnson, Bella Hadid, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattinson, Tom Cruise, and Angelina Jolie have also been spotted at the festival so far.
TWICE’s Mina Cannes 2025 Red Carpet Look
For her Cannes debut, Mina arrived in a black off-shoulder dress and paired it with a statement-making necklace from Boucheron and neatly tied hair. As stated earlier, she was invited to the festival as the Japanese ambassador of Boucheron.
The 28-year-old singer looked absolutely breathtaking in a black gown paired with a Rosier Question Mark necklace, Cyclamen ring, and pendant earrings. The Boucheron necklace she wore is one-of-a-kind and is estimated to be around £2.06 million.
Like Han So Hee, Mina also attended the world premiere of the movie, The Phoenician Scheme, directed by Wes Anderson and starring Benicio del Toro and Scarlett Johansson.
Mina at Kering Women in Motion Dinner
Mina did not stop at just one showstopper. Before her big Cannes 2025 appearance, she attended the Kering Women in Motion dinner. She chose an elegant white gown with delicate crease detail for her appearance at Kering Women in Motion. Mina sported elegant jewelry, which perfectly complemented her look.
Kering’s Women In Motion is a program launched in 2015 to celebrate women in cinema, in partnership with the Cannes Film Festival. The program celebrates its 10-year anniversary this year. Notable guests this year included Anja Rubik, Zhou Dongyu, Charli XCX, Dakota Johnson, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Paul Mescal, and more.
Meanwhile, TWICE gears up to drop their fourth mini-album, FOUR, this July.
