The Top 16 Contestants

The debut lineup was selected from the top 16 competitors. The eight finalists who did not make the group were:

  • Yoo Kangmin (Jellyfish Entertainment)
  • Chuei Liyu (FNC Entertainment)
  • Yumeki (Grigo Entertainment)
  • Jun Leejeong (C-JeS Studios)
  • Kim Junmin (C-JeS Studios)
  • Park Donggyu (IST Entertainment)
  • Kang Woojin (Individual Trainee)
  • Masato (iNKODE Entertainment)

These contestants contributed to the finale stages, which featured two new tracks: the EDM hip-hop performance “Brat Attitude” and the upbeat “Never Been 2 Heaven.”

Alpha Drive One (ALD1) Debut

During the live broadcast, it was confirmed that Alpha Drive One will promote as a project group for five years under WakeOne. Soon after the finale, the group’s official social media accounts were launched and gave fans their first look at the members together. In their introductory video, the members expressed gratitude to supporters worldwide and closed with a group gesture forming a heart.

The name Alpha Drive One continues the Planet franchise’s tradition of themed titles. As explained during the show, the group’s name signifies one official team “united by the passion and drive to be number one.”

ALD1 is scheduled to officially debut in early 2026. Unlike earlier Mnet project groups such as Wanna One and ZEROBASEONE, who launched within three months of their respective finales, ALD1’s promotions will begin after ZEROBASEONE’s contract expires at the end of December 2025.
