Apink’s main vocalist Jeong Eunji has officially signed with a new agency, marking a fresh start in her solo career. The singer-actress is set to continue her activities under Billions, following the expiration of her contract with longtime agency IST Entertainment.
On May 2, Billions announced that they had signed an exclusive contract with Eunji. They announced, “We will spare no effort in providing full support so that she can continue her wide range of activities as an ‘all-around entertainer’ who has built a unique area by being active in various fields such as music, acting, and entertainment.”
During an emotional Instagram update after the announcement, the idol actress shared, “First, I’d like to address what many of you are likely most curious—or even worried—about. I will continue my activities as a member of Apink, as well as my work as a singer and actress, just as I have until now.”
The 31-year-old singer and actress, who had been with IST Entertainment since Apink’s debut in 2011, has now concluded her long-standing contract with the agency.
She has parted ways with IST Entertainment after 14 years, and the agency congratulated her on her new journey, stating, “We sincerely cheer on Jeong Eunji in her future endeavors as she prepares for her new beginning. We also deeply thank the fans who sent Eunji their warm love and support”.
All Apink members have now parted ways with IST Entertainment but will continue as a group. Individually, Chorong, Bomi, Namjoo, and Hayoung are now with ChoiCreativeLab, while Eunji is with Billions.

She is currently captivating audiences with his bubbly charm as the fitness beginner Miran in KBS2’s drama “Pump Up Your Healthy Heart”. Having signed an exclusive contract with Billions, she will be working under the same management as his co-star Lee Jun Young.
Since her 2011 debut as Apink’s main vocalist, Jeong Eunji has successfully built a parallel career as a respected actress. Her breakout role came in 2012’s hit drama “Reply 1997,” which earned her the Best New Actress award at the 49th Baeksang Arts Awards, one of Korea’s most prestigious honors.
The multi-talented star went on to show her acting range through Kdramas such as “Miss Night and Day”, “Blind”, “Work Later, Drink Now”, “Untouchable”, and more.
