Apple TV+ is the latest one to hop on the K-pop bandwagon with the announcement of a new docuseries, K-pop idols, slated for next month.

This series takes you backstage with Jessi, CRAVITY, and BLACKSWAN, revealing the intense competition, hard work, and dedication required to succeed in the cutthroat world of K-pop stardom.

Executive producers Todd Lubin, Jack Turner, Jay Peterson, Bradley Cramp, Chris Kasick, Eric Yujin Kim, Sue Kim, and Elise Chung join forces with Matador Content and Boat Rocker to bring this exciting series to life.

Jessi is a Korean-American rapper, singer, and songwriter who has taken the K-pop scene by storm with her bold style and unapologetic lyrics. Born Jessica Ho on December 17, 1988, in New York City, Jessi moved to South Korea at a young age and began her music career in 2005 as a member of the hip-hop group Uptown.

After a 5-year hiatus, she re-emerged as a solo artist in 2014 and released many hit songs Gucci, Down, and Nunu Nana.

CRAVITY, a nine-member boy group formed by Starship Entertainment, debuted in 2020.

CRAVITY debuted with their EP Season 1. Hideout: Remember Who We Are and has since released several successful albums and singles, including Break All the Rules and Adrenaline.

BLACKSWAN is a South Korean girl group formed by DR Music in 2020. The group consists of five members: Fatou, Leia, Ravi, Shreya, and Gabi. BLACKSWAN debuted in October 2020 with the single Goodbye RANIA.
