This summer, Disney+ is bringing viewers a fresh and heartfelt Turkish romantic comedy that’s sure to sweep you off your feet. Aşkı Hatırla, aka Reminder and Remember Love reunites fan-favorite stars Hande Ercel and Baris Arduc.
Last year, the duo was cast as lead actors for the movie, Rüzgara Bırak (Leave It To The Wind), which is currently in post-production. Before the movie releases, Hande Erçel and Barış Arduç will meet viewers in a heartfelt rom-com.
Produced by O3 Medya and directed by Özgür Önurme, the 8-episode series promises a heartwarming tale of love, second chances, and serendipitous encounters. It is slated for release next week.
Aşkı Hatırla Release Date
Aşkı Hatırla will debut on Disney+ Turkey on June 18, 2025, with international releases under localized titles (Reminder in English, Recuerda el Amor in Spanish). The final trailer, released in late April 2025, has viewers already guessing about the storyline.
Storyline
The show follows Deniz, a successful architect played by Baris Ardux, and Güneş, a spirited magazine editor portrayed by Hande Ercel. Both find themselves at turning points in their lives when their relationship with their respective partners falls apart on the verge of marriage.
Their paths collide one fateful evening when a mysterious message on their phones sends them on an unexpected journey. What follows is a journey that takes them through beautiful locations across Istanbul and Cappadocia. They confront past regrets and rediscover true love in surprising ways.
Aşkı Hatırla (Reminder) Trailer
Fans got their first proper look at the series through a trailer released in late April. The brief trailer shows the chemistry between the lead actors and some steamy romance moments. The second trailer was released on June 12, which gives a glimpse into the character’s lives.

Production Details
Filming began in December 2024, and six months later, the drama was ready for release. Back in December, Hande shared a photo on Instagram departing for Cappadocia with the caption “Güneş’in yolculuğuna doğru” (“A journey towards the sun”), a clever nod to her character’s name and arc.
