YG Entertainment’s new girl group BABYMONSTER will be making their first appearance as a whole group on April 1. They have stirred excitement by revealing their plan to conduct a series of interviews with music journalists from various media outlets on their official debut day.

YG Entertainment announced that BABYMONSTER will have a round interview at YG’s new building in Hapjeong-dong, Seoul on April 1, coinciding with the release of their mini album BABYMONS7ER.

BABYMONSTER debuted in K-pop with the single BATTER UP last November, initially as a 6-member group. The album BABYMONS7ER marks Ahyeon’s return, making them a full 7-member group.

YG added significance by changing the ‘T’ in BABYMONSTER to ‘7’ to represent the 7 members. The official debut date was also shifted to April 1.

With K-pop fans’ excitement rising over the 7-member debut, BABYMONSTER is making waves by announcing their upcoming round interview.

This marks a significant moment in the K-pop industry as it’s the first time in the 2020s that a new girl group from the major players HYBE, SM Entertainment (SM), JYP Entertainment (JYP), and YG, known as the ‘big four,’ will participate in a round interview.

In addition, they will appear on music broadcasts following the album release. Their upcoming contains a total of 7 songs, including the track Like That, gifted by Charlie Puth.
