The never-ending drama between HYBE, ADOR, ILLIT, and NewJeans continues, with NewJeans and ILLIT bearing the brunt of hate and criticism.
In a recent development, BELIFT LAB, the agency of ILLIT, released an official statement revealing that they have filed an additional lawsuit against ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin for defamation and plagiarism accusations against ILLIT.
In addition, nearly a 28-minute video was released to counter the claims made by Min Hee Jin against ILLIT copying the NewJeans concept.
In the video, NewJeans was accused of copying Jeans, TLC, Jojo Gomez, and more. Besides all, BTS, BLACKPINK, IVE, ENHYPEN, GFriend, oh My Girl, IZ*ONE, and several other groups were mentioned.
However, the video to refute claims is not working in their favor, if anything it has made the matter worse.
Fans are infuriated because in the video BELIFT LAB calls them ‘objects of adult fantasies.’ In one part of the video, it was said, “NOT NewJeans – Object of adult’s fantasies even though they are teenager, NOT BLACKPINK – The perfect celebrity you can’t get to, NOT IVE – a doll-like and princess-like girls make someone jealous.”
Bunnies are outraged that the BELIFT LAB called NewJeans ‘objects of romance in the imagination of adults.’
Netizens believe that amidst the power struggle between the parent company HYBE and its subsidiary ADOR, ILLIT and NewJeans are unjustly caught in the crossfire.
