After G-Dragon, the group’s youngest member Daesung is set to make a comeback with a mini-album “D’s Wave” next month.

On March 17, D-Label dropped the teaser for his solo mini-album “D’s Wave” on all social media platforms. The 35-year-old singer is making a comeback after over a year since the release of digital single “Falling Slowly” in March 2024.

The digital single starring Kim Seon Ho and Mun Ka Young garnered attention for its dramatic music video and soulful vocals. BIGBANG members Daesung and Taeyang were also featured on G-Dragon’s pre-release single “HOME SWEET HOME” from the album “Übermensch”. The song was released in November last year ahead of BIGBANG’s performance at MAMA Awards 2024.

It has been a while since Daesung released a physical album, so fans are looking forward to his upcoming release “D’s Wave”. He will drop more promotional content ahead of the release to build hype.

Daesung debuted with BIGBANG in 2006 and made his solo debut two years later with the digital single “Look at Me, Gwisun”. Known as D-LITE in Japan, he has released several EPs for Japanese fans including “D-Day”, “Delight”, “D’Slove”, and more. After parting ways with YG Entertainment in December 2022, he signed with R&D Company in April 2023 to pursue a solo career.

Meanwhile, Daesung will release his forthcoming mini-album “D’s Wave” on all music platforms worldwide on April 8.
