BIGBANG’s Taeyang has announced his long-awaited return to the stage with a solo concert and Asian tour.
With the upcoming concert planned for next month, the 36-year-old K-pop star will be holding a solo concert after 7 long years.
On July 15, THE BLACK LABEL announced that he is set to perform at the Olympic Phil Hall in Seoul Olympic Park on August 31 and September 1 for his upcoming concert, TAEYANG 2024 TOUR [THE LIGHT YEAR] IN SEOUL.
The agency announced the upcoming concert will be his first in seven years, since his last solo concert in 2017. The Seoul concert will also kick off his Asian tour.
Additionally, fans can opt for the ‘FAN, SOUND CHECK EXPERIENCE’ package, which offers a unique opportunity to attend the artist’s sound check, participate in a photo shoot, and engage in a Q&A session.
Taeyang officially debuted as a soloist with EP Hot in 2008 and has released multiple solo singles and albums so far including Down to Earth (2023), Solar (2010), Rise (2014), Wedding Dress (2009), I Need A Girl (2010), and more.
In 2023, Taeyang’s collaborative single VIBE with the BTS member Jimin and Shoong! with BLACKPINK’s Lisa immense success.
In addition, he served as a producer on I-LAND 2 this year, which wrapped up this month.
Ticket sales for Taeyang’s highly anticipated solo concert will begin on July 17 at 12:00 PM (noon) on Interpark. Dates and stops for the upcoming Asia tour are yet to be announced.
