A special space in Seongsu-dong is being created where fans can personally experience the new project by J-Hope from the global supergroup BTS.
On February 2, BTS’ agency, BIGHIT MUSIC, announced that they’re hosting a pop-up event called HOPE ON THE STREET to celebrate the release of J-Hope’s special album, HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1. It’s happening in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul from March 30 to April 5.
This pop-up is a part of the HOPE ON THE STREET project, which focuses on the theme of ‘dance’, J-Hope’s passion. The BTS rapper and dancer himself planned this pop-up with the hope of bringing more joy and excitement to people and allowing them to experience his project firsthand.
The pop-up location will be packed with all sorts of cool stuff, like objects and exclusive behind-the-scenes content related to J-Hope’s special album and the upcoming documentary series. The space itself will have a ‘street sensibility‘ vibe, perfectly capturing the essence of the project’s main keyword, ‘dance‘.
Not only that, but they’re even planning to host a dance workshop called NEURON ON THE STREET where visitors can join in and show off their moves.
J-Hope’s special album HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1 is dropping at 1 PM on March 29. The title track, NEURON featuring Gaeko and Yoon Mirae, is all about his musical roots, life motivation, and anticipation for a fresh start. The album includes a total of six tracks and many exciting collaborations.
On March 28, right before the album release, the first episode of the documentary series HOPE ON THE STREET will be out. This documentary follows J-Hope’s incredible journey as he celebrates his 12th debut anniversary and explores his passion for dance, from his past to his present and future. Fans can watch it in 240 countries/regions around the world through TVING, an online video service, and Prime Video.
