Bang Si Hyuk broke the internet after his photos with two racy influencers went viral.
The photos of the three seen strolling in the lavish neighborhood of Beverly Hill, LA, blew up on August 8.
The HYBE chairman was accompanied by two Afreeca TV BJs, including the popular Juicy Seyeon.
HYBE Chairman was unexpectedly seen in a video posted by the YouTube channel ‘I am WalKing’ on August 7.
The video, a compilation of clips from July, shows Bang Si Hyuk walking with two women in Beverly Hills, LA. At the 44-second mark, he is seen crossing the road with the women, engaged in a conversation.
Netizens quickly identified one of the women as Juicy Seyeon, a well-known influencer and AfreecaTV BJ. She has recently gained international recognition after appearing on Netflix’s The Influencer.
After the photos spread like wildfire, BIGHIT MUSIC released an official statement to reveal the reason behind the meetup. The label shared, “While meeting with a friend, Bang Si Hyuk ran into one of the influencers who sought advice on dealing with imposters in the entertainment industry.”
The label also shared that when they visited LA, they asked Chairman Bang for recommendations on tourist spots and restaurants. He guided them, showed them around the city, and even made reservations for them.
Bang Si Hyuk continues to receive backlash even after BIGHIT MUSIC clarified the situation. HYBE is trying to take down the account that has been posting pictures from their LA outing.
