BIGHIT MUSIC kindly requested fans to avoid sending letters and gifts to RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook before the graduation ceremony. They want to make sure that everyone can enjoy the ceremony without any distractions.
On January 15, BIGHIT MUSIC, the agency of BTS, asked for further cooperation from fans on the fan community platform Weverse. They mentioned that RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are nearing the end of their recruit training after enlistment.
The agency mentioned that military units are shared spaces for training and it becomes challenging to store and prevent loss if a large quantity of fans’ letters and gifts are delivered at once. Therefore, they kindly requested fans to refrain from sending mail, letters, and gifts.
Additionally, they asked the artists to leave a message using a specific hashtag on Weverse.
In regards to the graduation ceremony, they mentioned that to ensure safety and prevent accidents caused by overcrowding, they kindly requested fans not to visit the site. Instead, they encouraged fans to show their support for BTS with their hearts.
In addition, all the members of BTS have begun their military service. Jin, the eldest brother, enlisted in December 2022, while J-Hope enlisted in April of the previous year. SUGA is currently serving as a social worker.
RM and V entered the Nonsan Training Center in South Chungcheong Province on December 11th last year, and Jimin and Jungkook joined the 5th Division Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province the very next day, on the 12th.
Lastly, BTS is aiming to resume full-scale activities in 2025.
