On January 15, Billboard revealed that Billboard Korea will be launching in June, and they’re kicking it off with the release of the very first issue, Billboard K Vol.1.

Before the highly anticipated first issue of Billboard Korea hits the stands, they have some exciting plans in store. Starting in April and May, they will kick off a massive launch promotion, which includes the opening of their official website and digital platform.

Billboard Korea is not only set to promote K-POP to fans worldwide, but it will also play a crucial role in swiftly sharing American entertainment news with Korea. It will serve as a bridge, fostering the growth of the global music industry.

Mike Van, the head of Billboard headquarters, expressed his excitement about the expansion into Korea. In an official statement, he mentioned how Billboard has always celebrated the incredible contributions of Korean music across their platforms.

With this launch, Billboard Korea joins the ranks of other international editions of Billboard, such as Billboard Japan, Billboard Arabia, Billboard Spain, and Billboard Brazil.
