Billlie’s Moon Sua Reflects on Her Hiatus and Return to the Group

Moon Sua from Billlie

Billlie’s Moon Sua and Suhyeon resumed group activities on April 12.

Moon Sua took a two-month break following the passing of her older brother, Moonbin, in April 2023. She returned but had to take another break in September of the same year.

Recently, she opened up about her hiatus, how she spent her days, and what she did to recover and rest.

In a recent video shared by Mystic Story of the group enjoying a meal together, the 24-year-old idol expressed that she felt undeserving of rest, saying, “To be honest, I felt a little bit uncomfortable when I tried to rest on my own? Do I deserve to rest?”

She thanked the group for their support, admitting that it is hard to fill in for a missing member which made her contemplate her decision to rest.

Sua went on to say, “I had a lot of thoughts about the team so I didn’t look up Billlie at first but then this incident happened, I was listening to Lee Moon Sae’s radio one day, he played our song and I did not want to pass by it that day.”

After that, she revealed that she started watching Billlie’s stages and behind-the-scenes videos and she could feel the group’s effort to move forward.

Moon Sua also shared how she used to spend her day during the break, saying, “I used to do nothing, I just stayed at home, I did nothing during the day.”

The Billlie rapper shared that everything felt meaningless to her, however, after some time, she began working out, met people, and talked about her concerns and worries.
