Mexican fans of BLACKPINK are excited after reports suggest the quartet may bring its ongoing DEADLINE World Tour to Monterrey in 2026. If confirmed, this would be the first time the group performs in the northern Mexican city.
The rumor started with a statement from Willie González, vice president of the Sultanes de Monterrey baseball team. During a recent radio interview, he mentioned that BLACKPINK would be among the major artists performing at the stadium.
He said, “Ricky Martin is already announced, Alfredito Olivas is already announced, BLACKPINK is already announced.”
As of January 10, 2026, the date is not officially confirmed. Major ticketing platforms, including Ticketmaster and Live Nation, do not list any upcoming BLACKPINK concerts in Mexico.
Currently, the only confirmed dates for the tour in 2026 are in Tokyo (January 16-18) and Hong Kong (January 24-26). As per the current schedule, the tour will conclude in Hong Kong on January 26. If no other shows are added, they might announce encore shows following the comeback. YG Entertainment and the group’s official channels have not released any statements about a Monterrey show.
The venue mentioned in the rumors is Estadio de los Sultanes, a baseball stadium in Monterrey that can hold over 22,000 people. A concert there would be a historic event for the city. BLACKPINK and other K-pop groups have strong fanbases in Mexico.
Previously, they sold out two nights at Mexico City’s Foro Sol stadium in April 2023 during their Born Pink World Tour. Fans continue to request a return, as seen on Mexican ticketing websites.
The DEADLINE World Tour started in July 2025 and is marketed as BLACKPINK’s first all-stadium tour. Members, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo, have already visited cities in North America, Europe, and Asia. They have held sold-out shows in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Paris, London, Milan, Barcelona, Seoul, Bangkok, and more.
Each show features a mix of the group’s biggest hits, including “Kill This Love,” “How You Like That,” and “Pink Venom,” as well as solo stages for Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa.
Fans in Mexico are advised to wait for an official announcement from YG Entertainment or the group’s official social media channels.
