Rosé, Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa reunited on stage two months after wrapping the European leg of the tour in London. So, fans were excited to see them together, and they delivered with renewed energy, new stage outfits, and improved performances.

Kaohsiung Celebrates with “Light Up in Pink” Campaign

The city of Kaohsiung welcomed BLACKPINK’s members with a coordinated celebration known as the “Light Up in Pink” campaign. Major landmarks, including the Love River and the Kaohsiung Music Center, were illuminated in pink to honor the group’s visit. The event showed the city’s enthusiasm for the performances and its recognition of BLACKPINK’s global status.

Former President Tsai Ing-wen and Mayor Chen Chi-mai participated in the celebrations by sharing AI-generated selfies featuring pink hair.

Approximately 100,000 people attended the two shows, which drove hotel occupancy rates to nearly 90%. Restaurants and retail businesses experienced sharp increases in activity. The local metro system extended its operating hours to accommodate fans traveling from around Taiwan and overseas.

BLACKPINK Delivers a Powerful Setlist and Solo Stages

The Kaohsiung concerts began with high-energy performances of “Kill This Love” and “Pink Venom.” The group performed a series of well-known tracks, including “How You Like That,” “Playing With Fire,” “Shut Down,” “Pretty Savage,” “Lovesick Girls,” and “Don’t Know What To Do.”

The setlist combined BLACKPINK’s major hits with solo stages that highlighted each member’s unique musical identity. Jisoo performed “earthquake” and “Hugs & Kisses” while Lisa presented “Thunder,” “When I’m With You,” and “Rockstar.”

Jennie performed “ExtraL,” “Starlight,” and “like JENNIE” and Rosé mesmerized audiences with “3am,” “toxic till the end,” and “APT.”

The show concluded with group performances of “Jump,” “Boombayah,” and “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” followed by “Forever Young” and “As If It’s Your Last.”

BLACKPINK Juggles Tour with Comeback Preparations

Following the Kaohsiung performances, YG Entertainment confirmed that BLACKPINK has begun filming a new music video. The group’s next album—their first since BORN PINK (2022)—is nearing completion. The agency stated that the members and staff are working carefully to deliver strong results for the comeback.

While the album was initially scheduled to be released in November, it has been pushed to December. The album was delayed due to members’ super-packed schedules and to improve the quality of the release.

BLACKPINK’s current world tour will be closely tied to new music promotions scheduled for late 2025 and early 2026. Besides the group comeback, members Jisoo, Rosé, and Jennie are also working on their solo releases, which may drop after their world tour.
