BLACKPINK’s Jennie is set to make history once again. The singer will be one of the headliners at the 2026 Mad Cool Festival in Madrid, Spain, from July 8 to 11 next year.

This is a huge moment—not only for Jennie but for K-pop in general. She is the only K-pop artist included in the festival’s lineup. The performing lineup also features big names like Foo Fighters, Florence + The Machine, Twenty One Pilots, Lorde, and Teddy Swims.

Jennie will take the main stage on Thursday, July 9, performing alongside Florence + The Machine, Lorde, and Teddy Swims. Being named one of the headliners is a big deal, it shows just how strong her global presence has become. It also proves that she is now seen as a top-tier performer who can pull massive crowds on her own.

The Mad Cool Festival first began in 2016 and has quickly grown into one of Europe’s most popular music festivals. It’s known for mixing all kinds of genres, rock, indie, pop, alternative, and electronic. It brings together some of the biggest names in music every year. The 2026 edition will be especially meaningful because it marks the festival’s 10th anniversary.

This time, organizers are planning something a little different. To celebrate the milestone, they’ll make the event a bit more “intimate and exclusive.” That means fewer stages and a smaller crowd, so fans can have a more comfortable experience and enjoy performances without worrying about overlapping schedules.

The festival will be held at the Iberdrola Music venue in Villaverde, Madrid, from July 8 to 11, 2026. The lineup for each day is already stacked with huge stars. On July 8, fans will get performances from Foo Fighters, Moby, The War on Drugs, Wolf Alice, The Last Dinner Party, and more.

On July 9, Jennie will share the stage with Zara Larsson, Charlie Puth, Reneé Rapp, Lorde, and more. July 10 will feature Twenty One Pilots, Kings of Leon, Pixies, and Halsey.

July 11 will close out the weekend with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Pulp, The Black Crowes, and David Byrne.

Earlier in 2025, Jennie performed solo at Coachella, becoming the first K-pop solo artist to perform on Coachella’s large Outdoor Theater stage. She performed songs from her solo album RUBY and completely wowed the crowd.

Even with her solo success, Jennie continues to stay active with BLACKPINK. The group is currently in the middle of their ‘DEADLINE’ World Tour, performing to sold-out audiences around the world. There has also been talk of new BLACKPINK music. The group was expected to release a new album by the end of 2025, but some reports suggest it might be pushed to 2026 instead.

For fans hoping to see Jennie live in Madrid, tickets will go on sale soon. Pre-sales for Mad Cool members will run from November 17 to 20, 2025, and the general sale for all passes and day tickets begins on November 20 at 10:00 a.m. CET through the official website, www.madcooltickets.com.
