Jisoo has made headlines once again but not for her music or acting career. According to reports circulating on October 29, the BLACKPINK member has reportedly purchased a unit at L’ARBRE 27. It is a brand-new ultra-luxury residential complex being built in Seoul’s upscale Samseong-dong area.
The development has been turning heads for its exclusivity and design. As the name suggests, L’ARBRE 27 will feature only 27 residences, and is one of the most private and high-end addresses in the city.
The complex consists of two buildings, each with seven floors above ground and five underground, and is set to be completed in 2026. Prices for regular units reportedly start at around ₩20 billion KRW (about $14 million USD), while the penthouse units are said to cost up to ₩45 billion KRW (around $31.6 million USD).
The architectural concept behind L’ARBRE 27 focuses on blending the comforts of luxury living with the privacy and independence of a detached home. The design incorporates a biophilic philosophy, meaning it’s centered on connecting residents with nature. Courtyards, gardens, and expansive terraces are built into each residence. This creates a sense of calm and openness despite being in the heart of Seoul.
There are several types of layouts available, including the “Garden House,” the “Terrace House,” and the Penthouse, which features wide terraces on three sides and offers panoramic city views.
Bang Si Hyuk, the founder and chairman of HYBE — the company behind BTS — is also reportedly planning to move into the same complex. With this, Jisoo and Bang Si Hyuk are both rumored to become residents and neighbors. L’ARBRE 27 is already being dubbed a future home for some of Korea’s biggest names.
It’s important to note, however, that this information has not been officially confirmed by Jisoo or her agency. The reports originated from online communities and entertainment news outlets. While multiple sources have shared similar details, it is still a strong but unverified rumor for now.
In recent times, BLACKPINK members have all made major real estate or business investments. Jennie, for example, recently secured a new headquarters for her label ODD ATÉLIER in Seoul’s Hannam-dong, one of the city’s most expensive neighborhoods. The building, which offers stunning views of the Han River, spans four stories with an additional basement level. Reports estimate that the monthly rent ranges between $43,000 and $57,000 USD.
Meanwhile, Lisa has been expanding her portfolio internationally. She purchased a $3.95 million home in Beverly Hills, a beautifully renovated 1924 English countryside-style residence sitting on a 1.3-acre lot. The house has four bedrooms, lush gardens, and a gated entrance for privacy.
Lisa also owns a luxury villa in Seongbuk-dong, Seoul, which she bought earlier for around $8 million USD. The two-story property includes a basement, a double-volume interior, and a private garage.
On the work front, Jisoo recently confirmed at The First Ride premiere that BLACKPINK has finished recording a music video for their upcoming comeback. Simultaneously, she is working on her solo comeback, which may feature multiple international collabs.
