BLACKPINK’s Lisa has signed an acting deal with William Morris Endeavor (WME) for exclusive representation in her film and television career. This means the 28-year-old K-pop star will expand her activities in Hollywood following her recent acting debut.

Lisa stepped into acting earlier this year through HBO’s third season of The White Lotus, which was filmed in Thailand and released in February. She played Mook, a resort employee and health mentor, in a role that quickly drew attention for her ability to adapt to a new field.

The season itself was a critical and commercial success, receiving 23 Emmy nominations, including one for Outstanding Drama Series. While it was one of the most nominated TV series, it only bagged the Theme Music category, won by composer Tapia de Veer.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Lisa explained that she was initially uncertain during the audition process, saying, “It was my first time, so I didn’t really know if I would be able to get the role.” She added that the cast and crew, including showrunner Mike White, made her first on-screen experience supportive and memorable.

Although WME will represent Lisa exclusively for film and television, her music activities remain under the management of The Lede Company and her personal label and management company, LLOUD Co., which she established last year. This arrangement will allow her to focus on both sides of her career without overlap.

The agreement with WME comes during what has already been a landmark year for Lisa. In 2025, she released her first solo album Alter Ego, made her debut on the Coachella stage in April, and became the first K-pop singer to perform at the Academy Awards. She also became the first K-pop artist in history to attend the Emmy Awards, and that too, looking otherworldly in a ravishing outfit.

In addition to her acting debut, Lisa also appeared at major film events. She made an unannounced appearance at the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in South Korea, where she walked the red carpet in a Maison Margiela gown.

In addition, her career will also be the subject of a documentary currently in production. The project, developed by Sony Music Vision and RCA Records in collaboration with LLOUD Co., will provide an inside look at her career with BLACKPINK, her work as a solo artist, and her first steps into acting. Directed by Sue Kim, the film aims to capture both her professional and personal journey as she continues to branch out into new areas.

WME represents many of the world’s most established actors and musicians, including Adele, Angelina Jolie, Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Joaquin Phoenix, The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, and Bruno Mars.

Meanwhile, Lisa will turn heads at the Louis Vuitton SS26 show in Paris as an ambassador on September 30 (local time). In addition, all BLACKPINK members will resume group activities in mid-October with an Asia tour and an album coming up.
