BLACKPINK Lisa’s “ALTER EGO”: Concept, Collabs, Tracklist, Release Date, and More

BLACKPINK's Lisa in a teaser for debut studio album ALTER EGO

The wait is finally over for BLINKs and Lilies all around the world!

BLACKPINK’s Lisa is gearing up to release her first-ever debut studio album “ALTER EGO” next week. The album was first announced in November 2024, and since then, fans have been treated to a series of promotional content.

Since BLACKPINK members’ solo releases are generating a buzz, fans are eager to know more about them. Rosé and Jisoo have already dropped a new album, while Lisa and Jennie will release new music soon.

Once done with the solo venture, they will reunite for a comeback and a world tour, which has already been announced.

Coming back to the subject, here is everything you need to know about Lisa’s debut full-length album

Lisa’s “ALTER EGO” Concept

Lisa’s new album ‘ALTER EGO’ reveals the many sides of her personality through five distinct characters: Roxi, Kiki, Vixi, Sunni, and Speedi. Each alter ego represents a different aspect of Lisa and is featured on its own track and special album cover.

Pre-release Tracks

Prior to the release of “ALTER EGO”, several singles were dropped to build hype. “ROCKSTAR” kicked things off on June 27, 2024, followed by “New Woman” with Rosalía on August 15, 2024. Both singles charted on Billboard HOT 100 at No. 70 and No. 97 respectively.

The third pre-release single, “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)”, arrived on October 3, 2024. It features a catchy chorus inspired by Sixpence None the Richer’s classic hit “Kiss Me”. Lisa gave fans an early taste of the song with a live performance at the Global Citizen Festival 2024 and later performed it at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024. “Moonlit Floor” did not secure a spot on the Billboard HOT 100

Most recently, “Born Again” was released on February 6, 2025. It is a collaboration track with Raye and Doja Cat and also part of the soundtrack of “The White Lotus” season 3. It earned Lisa her highest-charting entry on the Billboard HOT 100, debuting at #69.

Collabs

Besides Rosalía, Raye, and Doja Cat, the 27-year-old singer has collaborated with many international artists. Her debut studio album “ALTER EGO” includes tracks with Future, Megan Thee Stallion, and Tyla.

Tyla and Lisa have been hinting at a collab for quite a while now. BLINKs are excited to see her collaborate with the “Water” singer.
