Inspired by a Korean drinking game, the song was released in October last year without any promotions. Still, it is charting in the top 5 of the Billboard HOT 100 and is expected to climb higher.

More recently, “APT.” has tied with Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” for the record of most weeks (13) with over 500,000 points on the United World Chart.
In addition, Rosé’s album “rosie” has become the longest-charting album by a female K-pop soloist, with six weeks on the chart, surpassing Nayeon’s “IM NAYEON”.
Moreover, “rosie” is also the longest-charting album by a K-pop soloist in the Top 20, with six weeks. It surpassed Jungkook’s “Golden” which spent five weeks in the Top 20.
Meanwhile, Rosé recently reached a new all-time monthly listener peak for a K-pop act in Spotify history, with 71,124,800 listeners.
