What an exciting time to be a BLINK!
All BLACKPINK members continue to make exciting announcements one after the other about their solo activities.
Jennie recently announced her debut studio album “Ruby”, slated for March 7. She also dropped a cinematic music video of the pre-release track “ZEN” without any promotions or a prior announcement.
On January 26, Jennie dropped the 1st teaser for the track “Love Hangover”, set to release on January 31.
“Ruby” will contain 15 amazing tracks including pre-release singles “Mantra”, “ZEN”, and “Love Hangover”. Likely, the 29-year-old K-pop sensation won’t drop any other song and fans will have to wait for March 7 to stream her full album.
She has raised the bar with the “ZEN” MV and BLINKs are expecting more cinematic masterpieces from the BLACKPINK star. In the newly released, she showed a new, more confident, and edgy side of herself.
In particular, Jennie’s got some huge collaborations coming up, and fans are hyped. She is teaming up with big names like Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FKJ, and Kali Uchis.
The new album will be released in partnership with Columbia Records and her independent label ODD ATELIER.
Most importantly, she has announced an intimate concert series “The Ruby Experience”, kicking off in LA on March 6 followed by New York on March 10 and Seoul on March 15.
Meanwhile, Jennie will drop the pre-release single “Love Hangover” on January 31 followed by the studio album “Ruby” on March 7.
