BLACKPINK’s Jennie is officially joining EXchange 4 (also known as Transit Love 4) as a guest. On November 26, TVING confirmed the news to Star News, saying, “Jennie will be participating as a guest in ‘Transit Love 4′” while adding, “We kindly request your understanding that it’s difficult to confirm specific details regarding the filming schedule.”
It is exciting for fans, especially since Jennie rarely appears on dating reality shows, and her charm, reactions, and commentary have always been big hits with viewers. This will also mark Jennie’s first time appearing on EXchange, which is one of Korea’s most talked-about relationship reality programs.
Transit Love is a dating reality series where former couples—people who already broke up for their own reasons—move into one shared house. There, they face their past relationships, explore whether lingering feelings still exist, and decide whether to rekindle an old romance or open themselves up to someone new.
The show is known for its emotional tension and very real, very raw conversations between exes. Season 4 has been especially dramatic thanks to new features and fast-paced storytelling.
This season introduces the X Room, filled with mementos and shared memories, where former couples confront their history. The Time Room visually divides their emotions toward an ex versus a new interest by percentages. Instead of a simple yes/no, it shows shifting feelings in real time.
Current MCs include Simon Dominic, Lee Yong Jin, Yura, and Kim Ye Won. Jennie will join them as a guest, give her thoughts on the participants, and likely share interesting perspectives based on her own experiences. Fans are already excited about what kind of stories she will bring up and if she will talk about her past relationships.
EXchange 4 episode 11 ended on a tense note with the participants facing the emotional consequences of the choices made in the X Room, plus the arrival of a brand-new character at the house’s door. Episode 12 will show the cast struggling to balance their feelings between “X” (their exes) and “NEW” (a fresh romance).
Jennie has had a busy and successful year, both in music and fashion. She has been extremely active in 2025 with the release of her first full solo album “Ruby” on March 7, Coachella performances, and BLACKPINK’s ongoing tour.
On top of music and fashion, Jennie has a long history with variety programs. She first went viral on Running Man in 2018 thanks to her unexpected reactions and comedic timing. She later became a fixed cast member on Village Survival, the Eight, the same year. More recently, in 2024, she appeared regularly on Apartment 404 and My Name Is Gabriel.
Meanwhile, Jennie, along with BLACKPINK members, is working on a group album, which is in the final stages and slated for January 2026.
