Jennie has created quite a stir with the release of another pre-release track “Love Hangover”!
The BLACKPINK vocalist and rapper dropped this track in collaboration with Dominic Fike on January 31.
On February 11, Billboard released its latest chart and the song “Love Hangover” debuted at #97 on the prestigious chart.
With this, Jennie recorded third entry onto the Billboard HOT 100 following “One of the Girls” (#100) and “Mantra” (#98). The 29-year-old K-pop star is expected to chart even higher on HOT 100 as some fun songs are on the way.
In addition, she also made a notable debut on the UK Official Singles Chart. Her pre-release single “Love Hangover”, featuring Dominic Fike, entered the Top 100 at number 64 this week.
“Love Hangover” is a touching song that looks at the idea of being irresistibly drawn to someone who is both attractive and harmful. The lyrics capture the struggle of feeling connected to someone bad for you, making it impossible to let go.
Jennie’s solo album “Ruby” features 15 tracks across various genres. The album includes the previously released singles “Mantra,” “ZEN,” and “Love Hangover.” It also features collaborations with artists such as Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FKJ, and Kali Uchis.
Jennie will commemorate the release of her album “Ruby” with a series of live shows called “The Ruby Experience” in Los Angeles, New York, and Seoul. Due to overwhelming demand, an additional show has been added in Los Angeles. The schedule for “The Ruby Experience” is as follows:
- Los Angeles: Peacock Theater, March 6-7
- New York: Radio City Music Hall, March 10
- Seoul: Inspire Arena, March 15
Meanwhile, Jennie will drop her first-ever solo studio album “Ruby” on March 7 and resume BLACKPINK activities. A 2025 BLACKPINK tour has already been announced, which is expected to attract 40,000 fans per show.
