The BLACKPINK member added, “I’m inspired by all the women in this room and around the globe who continue to break barriers and make their mark on the world stage. I am so lucky and fortunate to work with so many talented people in my career, from singers, songwriters, and producers”.
She further said, “Doechii I love you, Kali I love you, I had these amazing women be on my album and words can not express how thankful I am. I will make sure to do my part of, not the job, I wanna make sure that I can be a good influence to the people.”

While concluding her heartfelt acceptance speech, Jennie thanked the people who matter most to her: her mom, fans, BLACKPINK members, Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo.
She wrapped up saying, “I wanna take a moment to thank my BLACKPINK girls, without them, this journey would have never happened. And to my mom, I love you mom, saranghee.”
During a red-carpet interview, the host asked about how the BLACKPINK girls are dominating the chart, the “ExtraL” rapper expressed how proud she is of her group mates, “It’s amazing that we’re all doing our own thing and we have each other’s back no matter what and that’s a special feeling and I miss them”.
Meanwhile, Jennie released her album “Ruby” on March 7 with the title song “like JENNIE”. She has been currently promoting the album and is set to perform at Coachella next month as a solo artist.
