After swooning fans with her adorable antics in Apartment 404, Jennie is set to join another variety show titled, My Name is Gabriel.
This time, she’ll be appearing in producer Kim Tae-ho’s new entertainment show.
My Name is Gabriel is similar to Life of Others special from MBC’s Infinite Challenge in the past. It’s a show where the cast travels abroad to live like regular people. Park Myung Soo, Yeom Hye Ran, Hong Jin Kyung, and Ji Chang Wook are all set to appear on the show.
My Name is Gabriel marks the first project between the Solo singer and producer Kim Tae-ho. Before this, Jennies had expressed interest in working with producer Kim Tae-ho.
Last year, when model Shin Hyeon-ji, a close friend of her in the entertainment industry, appeared on the YouTube show ‘Salon Drip’ created by TEO, which was established by producer Kim Tae-ho, Jenny captured the moment and playfully left a message wondering, “When will I get invited?”
The BLACKPINK member kicked off her entertainment journey on SBS’s Village Survival, the Eight back in 2018. Now, after about 6 years, she’s landed her first regular spot on a variety show with tvN’s Apartment 404, which premiered last month.
Lastly, Jennie, who recently extended her contract with YG Entertainment for BLACKPINK projects, has launched her own label called ODD ATELIER (OA). She dropped the track Slow Motion in collaboration with American rapper Matt Champion on March 8.
