BLACKPINK’s Lisa is sweeping the music chart with the release of a new single, ROCKSTAR.
BLINKs and Lilies are in for a special treat as Lisa is set to headline the Global Citizen Festival in New York.
She joins BTS’ Jungkook as the only K-pop artist to grace the prestigious festival. Jungkook performed as a co-headliner at the Global Citizen Festival on September 23, 2023.
He performed his hit summer anthem, Seven, with US rapper Latto and teased his next single, 3D feat. Jack Harlow.
Lisa is the second K-pop act to grace the stage of the 2024 Global Citizen Festival as a headliner in New York on September 28.
Fans will get to see her perform her iconic hits including Money, Lalisa, and Rockstar.
Besides her, Post Malone, Doja Cat, Rauw Alejandro, and Jelly Roll are scheduled to perform at the event. Additional artists set to perform at the event will be announced in the coming days.
The Global Citizen Festival is an annual event in Central Park, NYC, combining music with social activism, raising awareness and encouraging action on global issues. Tickets can be earned after signing petitions, donations, and volunteering.
