Louis Vuitton has tapped Lisa, the talented BLACKPINK rapper, as its newest ambassador!
This exciting partnership comes amid rumors of her possibly stepping down from her current role as CELINE ambassador.
It was expected that the 27-year-old K-pop star would partner with the French luxury house after she attended the brand FW 2024 show during Paris Fashion Week in March.
Artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière welcomed Lisa as a house ambassador, saying, “She has a daring spirit and charisma that I find incredibly compelling.”
He further praised Lisa’s fashion and music, stating, “She is as bold and creative with her music as she is with her fashion,” and added, “It is a privilege to accompany her on this journey.”
While attending PFW 2024 for Louis Vuitton was a major hint about her upcoming partnership, she dropped another clue in her latest single ROCKSTAR, released on June 28.
In ROCKSTAR lyrics, she hinted at repping LV, “Tight dress, LV sent it / Oh shit, Lisa reppin’.” Louis Vuitton also congratulated her on the release of her new single.
In addition, she is a brand ambassador for CELINE, however, there are rumors that her partnership with the brand has ended. Back in May, Lisa also starred in the Kith Women’s Summer Campaign.
Besides her, other K-pop acts including Felix from Stray Kids, LE SSERAFIM, RIIZE, and J-Hope, are serving as ambassadors for the brand.
On the work front, Lisa is gearing up to release a solo album this year after joining RCA Records, not to mention, also starring in her first-ever Hollywood acting gig.
