Lisa from BLACKPINK and Spanish singer-songwriter Rosalía are teaming up for a new single, New Woman.

Rumors of a Lisa and Rosalía collaboration had been circulating for a while. Now, just before their new single is announced, they dropped another hint, getting fans even more hyped for their upcoming collab.

Lisa’s upcoming single, New Woman, is her second solo release and first collaboration with an international artist since joining RCA Records and setting up independent label, LLOUD.

The BLACKPINK maknae is hinting at an exciting solo era ahead by teasing new music. She shared a snippet of an unreleased song (now New Woman) on TikTok, where she’s seen wearing a star-shaped necklace and sporting pink hair, her face hidden from view.

This comes just a month after Lisa launched her solo comeback with Rockstar, an empowering anthem that debuted at #70 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #4 on the Global 200. Rockstar also topped the Billboard Global Excl. US chart, marking Lisa’s first No. 1 solo hit.

The 27-year-old K-pop star had previously released solo singles LALISA and Money in 2021.

More recently, MTV VMAs 2024 nominations were announced, and she earned the most nominations (4) among K-pop acts.

Meanwhile, Lisa’s New Woman (ft. Rosalía) will hit music platforms on August 15 at 8 PM EST and August 16 at 9 AM KST.
