BLACKPINK’s Lisa recently turned a stylish event into a powerful act of charity. Earlier this summer, Lisa organized an event called “Welcome to Lisa’s Closet” in Seoul’s Hannam-dong district.
At the event, she sold pieces from her personal wardrobe, including clothing, accessories. She personally visited the flea market and drew a huge crowd of fans.
According to Sony Music Korea, on August 18, all proceeds from the flea market were donated to Good Neighbors, an international NGO focused on children’s rights and community development.
The funds will be directed to the Kolo region in Niger, Africa, where new solar-powered water facilities will be installed. The project includes solar panels, water tanks, and public drinking fountains to ensure safe and sustainable water access for nearly 6,800 residents.
Lisa expressed her gratitude to fans who took part in the event, saying it was meaningful to be able to give hope for the future.
Thanks to everyone who joined in, we were able to pass along hope for someone’s future… I will keep paying it forward so children in need can experience real, positive change.
Alongside her charitable efforts, she also unveiled a short film for Dream, the final track on her first full album, Alter Ego.
The five-minute cinematic music video, directed by Ojun Kwon, stars Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi and weaves a delicate narrative of memory and longing. Many believe that the song hints at her alleged past relationship and breakup with former YG artist, One.
At the same time, Lisa remains active with BLACKPINK as part of the group’s ongoing DEADLINE world tour. The tour, which recently wrapped its European leg, has been drawing massive audiences around the globe. BLACKPINK members will work on their mini-album, out in November, before resuming their tour in the fall.
