It’s official!
Global superstars BLACKPINK’s Lisa, British singer-songwriter Raye, and American rap sensation Doja Cat are joining forces for a brand-new single, “Born Again”.
Earlier this month, The Sun reported that the talented trio is collaborating on a single, slated for release next month.
On January 25, Lisa dropped the first teaser for “Born Again” on all social media channels along with the release date. In addition, the 27-year-old K-pop star gave a sneak peek into the song on TikTok as well.
“Born Again” is a pre-release single from her forthcoming debut studio album “ALTER EGO”. Lisa has already dropped three pre-release singles (“Rockstar”, “New Woman”, and “MOONLIT FLOOR”) and is onto release another one.
Previously, she mentioned wanting to collaborate with American rapper Doja Cat on several occasions. Now, her dream is turning into reality with this latest collab.
The tracklist for her album is yet to be revealed and fans are expecting more exciting collaborations. Lisa’s duet song “New Woman” with Rosalía made waves and topped many international charts.
Raye is a British singer-songwriter who combines R&B, pop, and electronic music elements. Her notable releases include “Escapism.” “Worth It”, “Secrets” “Decline” and “Cigarette”.
Doja Cat is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter, known for her hip-hop, pop, and electronic music style. Her popular releases include “Paint The Town Red”, “Need to Know”, “Mooo!” and “Kiss Me More”.
Meanwhile, Lisa, Raye, and Doja Cat’s single “Born Again” will drop on February 6 at 7 PM EST (February 7 at 9 AM KST). Over a week later, he will make her Hollywood debut with the third season of “The White Lotus” on February 16 followed by the release of a solo album “ALTER EGO” on February 28.
Lastly, BLACKPINK will resume activities in the first half of the year, with a comeback expected in May.
