BLACKPINK’s Lisa has no plans to rest after releasing ROCKSTAR!
It has barely been one month since the 27-year-old K-pop star dropped a single, she is already teasing a new release.
On August 3, Lisa shared a snippet of her new song, fresh face brand new dia, which sounds equally catchy and fresh combined with her distinct vocals.
Particularly, the lyrics from the newly shared snippet are already gaining attention, “here we go, banging and banging wanna crack these walls, banging and banging wanna echo through the halls, pullin’ up fresh face brand new dia”
The release date as well as other details for the song is not yet confirmed. The song will likely drop this month, and this will be the second solo release in over a month.
Like ROCKSTAR, this song is also going to be released in collaboration with her independent label, LLOUD, and RCA Records.
Rumors are circulating that the upcoming song might be a collaboration with Spanish singer Rosalía, following earlier reports of a joint release.
Earlier this year, Lisa revealed plans to release a debut solo album on her birthday.
It is not confirmed if she will be announcing a new album or another single this time.
On another note, BLACKPINK members are reuniting for a movie screening of their concert film and a fansign event. BLINKs can also look forward to solo releases of other BLACKPINK members as well and all are set to drop new music soon. Further, Lisa is set to perform as a headlining act at the Global Citizen Festival in New York in September.
