Talking to Vanity Fair, the “Money” rapper reveals she watches a lot of Kdramas. She is currently watching tvN’s neighborhood romance drama “Love Next Door” starring Jung Hae In and Jung So Min.
Lisa revealed the reason why she likes the drama saying, “I love the combination of the guy character and the girl character, they start as friends. Like they’re friends for 30 years, those things feel so real.”
tvN weekend drama “Love Next Door” premiered on August 17 and concluded on October 6. It follows the journey of a woman who seemingly has it all – a dream job at a top global company and a fiancé who is an international lawyer. When she unexpectedly returns to Korea, her picture-perfect life is turned upside down.
As she reconnects with her roots, she is reunited with a childhood friend, now a successful architect, and her mother’s friend’s son.
The 27-year-old singer mentioned that Kdramas are very lighthearted and that she often relaxes by watching them. She said, “When I need to calm myself down, I watch them, and it really helps.”
After having a whirlwind of the last few months, she is set to wrap 2024 on a high note. The BLACKPINK member will drop her first-ever studio album, believed to be titled “ALTER EGO” in the coming month.
She has already begun teasing promotional teasers for her full album.
On another note, Lisa kicked off her Asia fan meetup tour in Singapore on November 11 followed by Bangkok on November 13. Next, she will meet fans in Jakarta (November 15), Kaohsiung (November 17), and Hong Kong (November 19).
