Despite her worldwide fame, Lisa is making sure to connect with her loyal Korean fans.
The 27-year-old K-pop star arrived in Korea on July 12 to promote her new song, ROCKSTAR, which dropped on June 28.
To commemorate the release of her new song, the official ROCKSTAR Pop-up store was held at The Hyundai 2F, 108 Yeoui-Daero, Yeongdeungpo district in Seoul, from July 13 to July 14.
A huge number of fans queued up to get their hands on the latest ROCKSTAR merch.
On Sunday, July 14, Lisa made a surprise visit to the pop-up store where hundreds of fans welcomed her with loud cheers.
It is her first public appearance in a while in Korea after attending the Bvlgari Studio event in March.
The Money rapper engaged with fans, took photos with different accessories at the pop-up store and gave interviews to several fashion magazines.
ROCKSTAR is dominating the music charts, achieving her highest ranking yet on the prestigious Billboard HOT 100 chart.
This is her first music release after parting ways with YG, and it was released in collaboration with RCA Records and her personal label LLOUD.
On another note, Lisa has two major projects in the works: her solo album, set to drop later this year, and a Hollywood debut. In addition, chances are that BLACKPINK members might reunite to celebrate their 8th debut anniversary in August.
