While other BLACKPINK members Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa have set up their own agencies, Rosé’s agency post her departure from YG Entertainment remains a mystery.
According to Newsen’s report on June 17, the On The Ground singer is preparing to pursue her activities as a solo artist in collaboration with producer Teddy.
As per reports, she is set to join THE BLACK LABEL, founded by Teddy.
Rosé and Teddy have a long history of making music together, dating back to their time at YG Entertainment. Teddy produced many of BLACKPINK’s biggest hits, and the group considers him a trusted partner and an honorary member.
Notably, no official confirmation has been made by the label and the 27-year-old singer herself.
She is gearing up to drop fresh music and has given a sneak peek of a new track by posting a snippet on her birthday.
After parting ways with YG Entertainment, Jennie established ODD ATELIER, Jisoo set up BLISSOO, and Lisa is pursuing solo endeavors under her personal label, LLOUD.
It looks like Rosé might not be following the same path as the other BLACKPINK members and won’t be creating her own label.
In 2016, THE BLACK LABEL, established by Teddy, a former member of 1TYM from YG Entertainment, houses artists like Taeyang from BIGBANG, soloists Jeon Somi and Zion.T, and actors Park Bo Gum and Lee Jong Won.
