BLACKPINK’s Rosé will be lending her incredible vocals to I-LAND 2: N/a.
As reported by Korean media outlets on March 28, Rosé will join in singing the signal song, Final Love Song, for Mnet’s K-pop girl group debut project I-LAND 2: N/a. Previously, IU sang the signal song, Into The I-LAND, for season 1 of I-LAND in 2020.
I-LAND 2: N/a is coming back for another season, and it’s set to showcase the process of forming a girl group that will pioneer a fresh trend in the global music industry through an unprecedented collaboration.
Teddy, who leads THE BLACK LABEL, will be a master producer for I-LAND 2: N/a. Teddy has produced popular tracks for BLACKPINK, 2NE1, and Jeon Somi. It seems Rosé will be part of this survival signal song due to her close connection with Teddy.
This marks Rosé’s first solo song release in approximately three years since her solo single album R came out in March 2021.
Just last month on her birthday, Rosé shared a snippet of her upcoming songs and solo plans on Instagram, expressing that she will work harder this year. There’s much anticipation surrounding her involvement in this signal song.
On another note, I-LAND 2: N/a is set to premiere on April 18 at 8:50 PM. Taeyang, 24 (2NE4), VVN (Vivienne), Monika, and Li Jung have signed on as producers and directors, while actor Song Kang will be part of the storytelling team.
