BTS Adds U.S. Stadium Dates to ‘ARIRANG’ World Tour

BTS 5th Album and World Tour

BTS’s comeback has brought in more attention than first expected. Their upcoming “BTS World Tour ‘ARIRANG’” is already making history, even before the first show begins. All opening concerts sold out instantly, and extra dates in the United States were added right away.

BTS opening shows sell out immediately

BTS will open the tour with ARIRANG in Goyang at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium this spring. The concerts are scheduled for April 9, 11, and 12, 2026.

All three dates sold out during the ARMY fan club presale on January 22. Tickets disappeared almost instantly, which showed the massive anticipation for BTS’s first full-group tour in years.

Extra U.S. shows added due to demand

Due to explosive demand, BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed one extra concert in each of two U.S. cities.

With this, BTS becomes only the second artist, after Coldplay, to headline a solo concert at Stanford Stadium, a major milestone for a K-pop act.

Largest K-pop Tour in History

The ‘ARIRANG’ World Tour will run from April 2026 to March 2027, and now includes 81 concerts across 34 cities. This is the largest tour ever by a K-pop group and will continue next year as well.

After Goyang, BTS will perform at the Tokyo Dome on April 17 and 18, then continue through North America, Europe, South America, and Asia.

Major tour cities include Tokyo, Mexico City, Madrid, London, Paris, Toronto, and several large U.S. stadiums.

The final concert is scheduled for March 14, 2027, in Manila, and after that, dates in the Middle East and other regions will be announced.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum publicly commented on the tour, saying, “I welcome the success of this concert,” and “This is a historic moment.”

BTS will perform in Mexico City at Estadio GNP Seguros on May 7, 9, and 10.

Forbes stated that the tour “sets a new standard for Korean artists,” while USA Today reported that the concerts are expected to make history once again.

New album “ARIRANG” arrives in March

The tour supports BTS’s fifth full-length album, “ARIRANG,” set for release on March 20.

This is their first full-group album in over three years and nine months after a hiatus due to members’ solo work and military service.

The album features 14 tracks and focuses on identity, longing, and deep love. All members took part closely in the creative process, and it aims to reflect who BTS is today.

A special “Rooted in Korea Ver.” is also available through the official BTS store, which includes a photo book, photo cards, and a poster.
