Netflix’s beloved period drama Bridgerton is pushing boundaries with its latest announcement: K-pop sensation BTS’ infectious hit ‘Dynamite’ will be featured in Season 3’s soundtrack.
According to Variety, BTS’ Dynamite has been featured in the Part 1 soundtrack of Netflix’s Bridgerton Season 3, alongside other hits like Billie Eilish’s Happier Than Ever and Sia’s Cheap Thrills.
BTS’ Dynamite, released in 2020, is the group’s first English-language single and the first K-pop song to achieve the coveted #1 spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The soundtrack for Bridgerton 3 also features an array of popular tracks, including Jealous by Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, and Snow On The Beach by Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey.
Additionally, a cover of The Beach by the LA-based band Shimmer and a string rendition by the Atwood Quartet are included. These songs will be played in Episode 4 of the series.
Based on Julia Quinn’s bestselling novel, Bridgerton is a romantic drama that explores love and joy in London’s upper echelons.
Bridgerton season 3, comprising eight episodes, will be released in two parts: the first four episodes will debut on May 16, followed by the remaining four episodes on June 13.
