On February 3, BIGHIT MUSIC announced that BTS—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—will hold a comeback live event titled BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG on March 21 at 8 p.m. KST.

The performance is being held to celebrate the release of BTS’s new album ARIRANG. During the event, the group will perform songs from the album, including the title track, for the first time. It will be BTS’s first concert in the heart of Seoul in about five and a half years and their first full-group stage since completing their military service.

How to Watch BTS Comeback Concert Live?

The concert will take place at Gwanghwamun Square, one of South Korea’s most symbolic public spaces, and will also be streamed live worldwide through Netflix.

The March 21 concert will be produced in collaboration with Netflix and will be live-streamed to viewers in more than 190 countries. It will be Netflix’s first large-scale live event produced in Korea for a global audience. The platform confirmed that the livestream will be exclusive, accessible to subscribers worldwide at the same time as the on-site performance.

Netflix will also release a feature-length documentary titled BTS: The Return on March 27. The film follows the group’s comeback journey after a hiatus of three years and nine months. Directed by Bao Nguyen and produced by This Machine, the documentary captures BTS reuniting in Los Angeles to complete their new album, ARIRANG.

It documents the creative process, the individual struggles of each member, and their reflections on returning as a group. The film focuses on how BTS confronts the question of how to begin again while honoring their past without being confined by it.

Historic Significance of BTS Comeback Concert

The Gwanghwamun Square concert marks the first time a pop artist has held a solo concert at the site. Through this stage, BTS will transform a space closely associated with Korean history into a global music venue.

BIGHIT explained that the location was chosen intentionally. According to the agency, ARIRANG reflects BTS’s starting point, identity, and the emotions they want to express at this stage of their career.

The agency added that “Arirang” itself carries deep symbolic meaning in Korean culture. Plus, the group wanted their first comeback stage to be held in a place that represents Korea.

This performance also continues BTS’s history of pairing Korean heritage with global broadcasts. In 2020, the group performed at Gyeongbokgung Palace’s Geunjeongjeon Hall and Gyeonghoeru Pavilion during “BTS Week” on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Meanwhile, BTS will globally drop their fifth full-length album ARIRANG on March 20 at 1 p.m. KST. The album includes 14 tracks and centers on themes of identity, reflection, and renewal. It marks their first full-group album in nearly four years.

Following the album’s release, BTS will embark on a large-scale world tour titled BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ (2026–2027). The tour will include 80+ concerts across 34 regions spanning Asia, North America, Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East.
