While ARMYs have wholeheartedly supported BTS members’ solo endeavors for the past couple of years, they are anxiously waiting for their reunion, which is not too far.
Five out of seven members will complete their mandatory military service in June. On the other hand, Jin and j-hope resumed activities after completing military service in June and October last year.
j-hope recently released a single “Sweet Dreams” on March 7 and is now on to drop another track “Mona Lisa” on March 21. The rapper is currently in America, holding concerts in several US cities as part of his world tour “HOPE ON THE STAGE”.
After promoting “Sweet Dreams” on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”, he gave an interview to SiriusXM. Since the remaining BTS members are set to be discharged in three months, the question on everyone’s mind is about their long-awaited reunion.
During his interview with SiriusXM, j-hope shared his excitement about reuniting with the group, saying
“I think it’ll be unbelievable and it was I think 2022 when we last got together as a group and so if we come together it’ll be after four years I think and the level of anticipation from the fans is really high that I know I mean I am even curious how it will be like as a team after we get together after military service and the situation is a little bit different from 2022 because everyone would’ve done their own solo album performances and then getting back together as a team so I am also curious about that too.”

Previously, BTS fans were disappointed when there were reports that the full group comeback was pushed to 2026. In November 2024, HYBE’s CFO revealed during a press conference that the BTS comeback is now expected in 2026. In response, BIGHIT MUSIC shared that they are still discussing activity plans with the members, so no projections can be made yet.
Kmedia outlets have previously reported that BTS will make a comeback and embark on a world tour in the second half of this year. Understandably, the full group comeback will not likely happen after the military discharge. However, the group will reunite for various activities and delight fans with solo and group endeavors.
In related news, V and RM will be discharged on June 10 followed by Jungkook and Jimin the next day. Suga, who is the only BTS member to serve as a public service worker, will finish his alternative service on June 21.
