BTS’ J-Hope is planning his first solo comeback after military discharge!
If rumors are true, the 30-year-old rapper and dancer will release a song approximately 5 months after returning to civilian life.
On February 5, TenAsia exclusively reported that J-Hope is set to make his solo comeback next month with a brand-new single. This marks his first solo release since completing his military service in October last year.
All eyes are on the BTS member as fans eagerly await what kind of music and performance he has in store.
Previously, he may have subtly hinted at the release date of his new solo song. When J-Hope joined TikTok, he posted a teaser with the date “March 7”, which could possibly be the release date of his upcoming music.
The “Arson” rapper has always received public and critical acclaim for his solo music. His debut studio album “Jack In The Box” (July 2022) was praised for blending classic hip-hop with modern flair. Before enlisting in the military, he dropped the single “On the Street” (March 2023).
Even while serving, the K-pop star continued to engage with fans by releasing the special album “HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1”.
In addition, J-Hope and Don Toliver’s new collaboration, “LV Bag,” produced by Pharrell Williams, made its debut at the Louis Vuitton FW25 show in Paris on January 21. The song is expected to be officially released on music platforms in the coming weeks.
Last month, he delivered a spectacular performance at the Le Gala Des Pièces Jaunes in Paris, France. Notably, J-Hope was personally requested by French First Lady Brigitte Macron to perform on the event’s opening stage.
On another note, he is set to embark on his inaugural world tour, “HOPE ON THE STAGE“, with a three-day concert in Seoul from February 28 to March 2 at the KSPO DOME. The tour will then head to North America, kicking off in Brooklyn on March 13.
