BTS’s j-hope (Jung Hoseok) has always had a fun and thoughtful way of looking at things. His recent appearance on Sana’s Fridge Interview proved it once again. During the interview, the BTS rapper and dancer casually revealed his thoughts on his ideal type, but in a way that had fans both thinking and laughing.
On June 19, j-hope appeared on TWICE Sana’s YouTube show Sana’s Fridge Interview to promote his newly released single Killin’ It Girl feat. GloRilla. In an hour-long interview, the 31-year-old pop star got candid about a lot of things, including his ideal type.
Sana welcomed him and praised his bright personality, saying, “It really felt like sunshine just walked in. You’ve been smiling brightly the whole time.” She later asked j-hope his ideal type, and this was his response
“I think I prefer someone a bit different from this. If I ask what’s inside this pear drink, I’d think there’s pear inside and something else too, but the other person would explain it from another perspective. Like. Which farm did the pear come from?”
Fans went wild over his description of the ideal type, flooding the comments with hilarious reactions and witty remarks.

j-hope recently wrapped his world tour “HOPE ON THE STAGE” with two sold-out encore concerts in Seoul on June 13-14. The encore concert, held on BTS’s 12th debut anniversary, was attended by the already-discharged members, V, Jungkook, Jimin, and RM, as well as Suga. The OT7 reunion is happening soon as Suga completes alternative service on Saturday.
While all BTS members officially complete military service this month, their comeback will likely not happen until March 2026. A HYBE source told Korea Herald that BTS and TXT, boy groups from BIGHIT MUSIC, will make a comeback in March next year.
