As per statistics, the Like Crazy singer topped the search rankings on TikTok and YT in the USA and Japan in the first half of 2023. Jimin’s debut album Face was released in March, the Kpop idol was busy promoting the album on American TV shows. This also contributed to the rise in search rankings on the American YouTube.
Jimin‘s Face received positive response from critics and unwavering support from fans. Consequently, the search ranking peaked during February and March.
That’s not all, the Set Me Free singer also ranked in the top 20 most searched K-pop male idols on Japanese YouTube in 2023. In addition, Jimin became the first Korean soloist to win Platinum Certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).
