BTS Jimin has consistently supported students, youth, and elderly living in Busan throughout the years!
The 29-year-old vocalist has proven time and again that he has a heart of gold with charitable contributions.
Despite completing his active-duty service, he continues to support vulnerable people in his hometown Busan.
On December 2, Busan City revealed that BTS member Jimin donated 30 million won (approximately USD 22,000) on November 29. He donated funds to support the city’s vulnerable elderly population and enhance their living environment.
The 30 million won donation will be used by the Busan City Senior Citizens’ Comprehensive Center to establish a safe and comfortable living environment for vulnerable elderly individuals.
On November 29, Busan City hosted the “Busan Habitat Challenge Donation Ceremony” at City Hall. As Jimin is currently fulfilling his military duties, his father attended the ceremony on his behalf.
The “Like Crazy” singer has made history as the third donor to the Busan Habitat Challenge. Prior donors include KB Kookmin Bank (90 million won) and Dongil Bank (200 million won).
On the work front, Jimin dropped his second solo album “MUSE” in July, and the title track “Who” is still dominating the Billboard HOT 100. He is currently serving in the 5th Infantry Division of the Army as part of his mandatory military duty. He, along with Jungkook, is set to complete his service and be discharged on June 11, 2025.
